MANHATTAN - Police are looking for a gunman who stuck up a parking garage attendant during the early morning hours in Manhattan. The man is seen on surveillance video fleeing the scene with a brown paper bag that looks like it is from a takeout joint.

At around 5 am on June 19, a 69-year-old man was opening a parking garage off the FDR Drive and East 30th Street.

While opening the shop, a masked man walked up to the garage attendant and simulated that he had a gun. He demanded to the clerk to hand over his property.

The victim handed over his wallet which contained credit cards and $160 in cash.

No property was taken from the parking garage which was not opened yet.

The robber ran off in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured during the robbery.

Police released surveillance video from a nearby camera.

Cops said the suspect is a male with a light complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and blue sneakers. He wore a black baseball cap and a black face mask to hide his face.

In the video the suspect is seen running through the streets holding a paper shopping bag with a receipt stapled to the outside of the bag which looks like a bag from a takeout restaurant.
