Fanny Pack ‘Gunman’ Robbed Cyclist of Citi Bike

NEW YORK - A man in Chelsea was bike jacked when a gunman stole his Citi Bike.
At around 4:30 pm on August 15, a 31-year-old man was riding a Citi Bike in Chelsea. At the corner of 8th Avenue and 17th Street, the bike rider was approached by a man with a Fanny pack across his chest.
The suspect walked up to him, placed his hand inside the Fanny pack and simulated that he had a gun.
Cops said the gunman told his victim he would kill him if he did not comply and get off the bike. The victim dismounted and the thief rode off on the stolen Citi Bike.
The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion who is between the ages of 25 and 30. He is 150 to 160 pounds, who is 5 foot 9 with a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a brown fanny pack across his chest, black hooded sweatshirt with white writings on the sleeves, gray pants and black sneakers.
