Hit and Run with Citi Bike Fractures Man’s Skull

NEW YORK - Police released new video of a man suspected of running over a pedestrian while riding a Citi E-bike and kept going. The victim suffered a fractured skull in the accident.
At around 12:30 pm on September 21, a man was walking in the vicinity of 5th Avenue and East 21st Street in the Flatiron District. As the pedestrian attempted to cross the street he was struck by a man riding a Citi E-bike. The victim was slammed to the floor.
The bike rider rode off without stopping, cops said.
The victim suffered a fractured skull, fractured right eye and bruising to the body.
Police released surveillance video from the scene which captured the suspect riding the bike.
The suspect is described as male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing black shorts, white sneakers, and black t-shirt.
