Moped Riding Thieves Target High-End Headphones

NEW YORK - A trio of moped riding thieves ripped high-end headphones off the heads of three victims in less than an hour, cops said.
Police released photos of the three suspects riding three different mopeds. The crew has targeted victims wearing expensive headphones at bus stops and walking down the street.
The one-hour crime spree kicked off at around 6 pm on September 12. A 28-year-old man was standing at a bus stop in front of 500 West 181st Street.
Cops said three men ran up to the victim, ripped the headphones off his head, hopped on dark colored mopeds and drove away.
Cops said the headphones are valued at $600.
Forty five minutes later the crooks struck near Gramercy Park. A 39-year-old man was riding a bike in the vicinity of 2nd Avenue and 17th Street.
Cops said the crew rode up behind the man on mopeds. One of the crooks ripped the headphones off the man’s head and drove off on the mopeds.
Cops said the headphones are valued at $600.
The final robbery took place 10 minutes later near East 20th Street and Avenue C. A 19-year-old man was walking down the street when the crooks rode up behind him and ripped the headphones off his head.
The crew rode off on their mopeds southbound on Avenue C.

The first suspect is described as a male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing black pants, black t-shirt, black Nike mask, and black and yellow sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing black pants, black t-shirt, black Nike mask, and black and yellow sneakers.
The last suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, a black mask, and black sneakers.
