Cops Release New Video in Man Pushed onto Subway Tracks

NEW YORK - Police released new surveillance video of two men wanted in connection with the beating of a straphanger and then pushing him onto the subway tracks.
The new video shows the two suspects as they exited the turnstiles to the Broadway and 72nd Street train station. The first suspect has a light complexion and was seen wearing a red puffy jacket, black baseball cap, black shirt and black pants. The second suspect has a light complexion. He was was last seen wearing a black sweater, black baseball cap and dark jeans.
At around 2:30 am on October 14, a 32-year-old man was riding a northbound Number 2 train. Cops said at some point the straphanger got into an argument with two men inside the subway car. When the train stopped at the Broadway and 72nd Street train station, all three exited the train.

Cops said on the subway platform the two men pounced on the straphanger. They repeatedly punched and kicked the man throughout the body. Then the attackers pushed the man and he fell off the platform onto the subway tracks below.
The attackers ran out of the subway station.
Fortunately no train was coming and the victim was helped off the tracks.
EMS transported the victim to St. Luke’s Hospital. Cops said the victim suffered a broken nose and a broken right middle finger.
Police released surveillance video of the suspects. The first is described as a male with a medium complexion and medium build. He was last seen wearing a red jacket, and black pants.
The second suspect is described as a male with a medium build. He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
