MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a backpack wearing man whom they said stole laptops from an office building in the Flatiron District.

The NYPD released the surveillance video of a young man walking with a large green and red backpack. Investigators theorize that the stolen laptops were smuggled out of an office building in that large bag.

At around 12:30 am on October 23, a man scaled the building at 45 West 25th Street and entered a commercial building through a second story window. Once inside the suspect removed a Mac Book and a Dell laptop.

Cops said the suspect then fled the building.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black mask, black pants, multicolored sneakers, and a multicolored backpack.
