NEW YORK - The NYPD is searching for a pair of thieves who robbed two people at gunpoint of nearly $30,000 in cash and high-end accessories on Park Avenue.
At around 11 pm on October 25, a 35-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were walking in front of 230 Park Avenue South when two men ran up to them with a gun near Grand Central Station.
Cops said the gunman and the accomplice demanded the victim’s property. The NYPD released surveillance video showing the thieves forcibly removing items off the victims.
Cops said the thieves removed $29,000 in jewelry and designer accessories from the victims.
The crooks then ran off northbound on Park Avenue.
The NYPD says the robbers are two men with light complexions and thin builds. The gunman was last seen wearing a silver puffy jacket, red baseball cap, black jeans and white sneakers.
The second suspect was last seen wearing a light blue hoodie, black jeans and a gray baseball cap with the Nike logo.
