MANHATTAN - Another woman was punched in the face during a random attack in Chelsea. This attack is the latest in a string of various attackers punching women including influencers who posted stories about their attacks on TikTok.

At around 12:43 am on March 26, a 24-year-old woman was standing in front of if 717 Avenue of the Americas in Chelsea. Cops said a man walked up to her and, unprovoked, punched her in the face.

The attacker ran off leading the woman bruised.

The suspect is described as a male who has a dark complexion and is 35 years old. He is 5 foot 10, with a medium build and is 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, light jeans and white and orange sneakers.

The search for this suspect comes on the heels of a group of high-profile random attacks that were posted to TikTok. One influencer described on the social media platform her random attack of being punched in the same area as the most recent Chelsea attack.

Another popular TikTok influencer detailed how she was punched in the face while looking at her phone near Parsons School of Designs.

None of these random attacks appear to be related.
