Two people were injured in a Sunday morning shooting on West 116 Street in Harlem on November 9, 2025. Police say the suspect fled on foot and remains at large.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 7:39 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in front of 114 West 116 Street. A 47-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were standing outside the location when an unidentified male suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and began shooting.
Both victims were struck in the ankle area. Officials say they were transported by private means to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where they were listed in stable condition.
Suspect Fled on Foot, Police Say
After the shots were fired, the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, according to police. As of this writing, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.

- Dark complexion
- Approximately 30 to 35 years old
- Medium build
- Last seen wearing all black clothing and black sunglasses
