NEW YORK, NY - Cops are looking for the man who slashed a 19 year old’s neck. The victim is recovering and police are trying to determine a motive.


Police say the incident happened near the intersection of Eldridge Street and Broome Street in the heart of the Lower East Side in New York City, a neighborhood known for its busy streets, restaurants, and nightlife.


According to officials, the 19-year-old victim was slashed in the neck and head during a violent Lower East Side attack shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday. The brutal assault left the young man with life-threatening injuries.





Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene following reports of a 19-year-old man critically injured in Lower East Side slashing. Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition as doctors continue treating his injuries.


The incident triggered a large police response as investigators began canvassing the area for witnesses and evidence connected to the violent slashing near Eldridge Street and Broome Street in NYC.
