NEW YORK, NY — Seven people allegedly jumped and viciously beat a man outside a takeout restaurant near Washington Square Park before stealing his alcoholic beverages, according to the NYPD.

Police are searching for seven suspects wanted for an assault and alcohol theft in Manhattan after the group attacked a 34-year-old man outside an eatery at 110 MacDougal Street. The NYPD released surveillance video showing the suspects jumping subway turnstiles at a nearby station following the incident.

At approximately 5:50 p.m. on October 3, the victim was standing outside the MacDougal Street restaurant holding three BeatBox alcoholic beverages when the group approached him.
