Investigators are trying to catch the bank bandit who hit different TD Bank locations in the upper Bronx, Harlem and the Upper East Side this month. In each case the man handed the teller a note saying he was armed and to turn over cash.

The first case was in the Throggs Neck section of the Bronx. At around 4:50 pm on March 14, the suspect walked into the TD Bank at 3755 East Tremont and handed the teller a note. The letter stated the man had a gun and demanded money. The teller handed over $700 in cash and the thief fled.

The next robbery was at a TD Bank in Harlem. At around 10:31 am on March 17, the suspect walked into the bank at 2144 3rd Avenue. He handed the teller a note that stated he had a gun and demanded cash. In this case the bandit made off with $650 in cash.

The most recent case occurred this week on the Upper East Side. At around 1:23 pm on March 21, the bandit struck the TD Bank at 953 3rd Avenue. Once again the robber handed the teller a note stating he had a gun and to turn over cash. He fled with $1,265.

The NYPD released surveillance video taken from subway stations following the Harlem and Upper East Side robberies.

The suspect is described as a male with a light skin complexion. He is 5 foot 10, 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray sweater, gray pants and blue surgical mask around the lower portion of his face.
