Arrest Made in Hot Pants Wearing Psycho Slashing

NEW YORK - Police have made an arrest in the slashing of a woman in the face with butcher knife on the street. 



Police have arrested 52-year-old Ola Albanni from Hoboken, New Jersey. She was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon in the random slash attack in Harlem.



At around 6 pm on September 1, a 65-year-old woman was walking in front of 555 8 Avenue in Harlem. A woman in her 30s walked up to her, pulled a butcher knife out of a shopping bag and without warning slashed the victim across the face.



The attacker fled on foot north on 8th Avenue.





EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai West. She sustained a cut under her left eye and was listed in stable condition.
