Scooter Driver Hits Pedestrian in Head with Glass Bottle

NEW YORK - Cops are looking for a scooter rider who struck a man upside the head with a glass bottle in Murray Hill.


At around 1:30 pm on August 14, a 24-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of East 23rd Street and 2nd Avenue. Cops said a man riding an electric scooter rode up behind the man and struck him about the head with a glass bottle.




The attacker rode off in an unknown direction.


The victim refused medical attention at the scene.




No word on what led to the attack.


The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and a camouflage hat. He rode a blue scooter.
