Surveillance Video Shows Couple Wanted for Subway Slashing

MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a couple wanted in the slashing of a female subway rider at the 42nd Street station. 


At around 6:30 pm on November 19, an 18-year-old woman got into an argument with a man and a woman as she was entering a northbound A train at the 42 Street- Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station.


According to the NYPD, the argument between the three got heated and one of the suspects pulled out a knife and slashed the woman in the arm. The couple then walked away on the northbound platform. 


EMS rushed the victim to Mount Sinai West where she was listed in stable condition. 


It is unclear at this time whether it was the male or female suspect who slashed the victim. 


Police released surveillance video of the suspects from inside the 42nd Street subway station. 


The first suspect is a female with a light complexion and slim build. She is 5 foot 5 and has her hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. She was last seen carrying a gray book bag. 


The second suspect is a male who is 5 foot 8 and has a medium complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored ski mask, black hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath, dark colored jeans and dark colored jeans.
