Cops are looking for the suspect who exposed himself to a female straphanger, the NYPD announced.  Cops released dramatic surveillance video taken from the platform of the F Train on West 4th Street. In the video the suspect is seen looking at his phone and looking around to see if a train is approaching the station. It is not until the suspect walks across the platform does the viewer notice the purposely blurred out lower half. Cops said the suspect was exposed while walking across the platform.  The dramatic incident too

Fashion Conscious Crooks Choke Man Near Port Authority

Muggers Steal Man’s Clothes The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with a mugging near the Port Authority. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 19, 2024 MANHATTAN - A trio of muggers choked a man for his clothes near the Port Authority bus terminal, the NYPD announced. At around 2:30 am on March 4, a 23-year-old man was standing in front of 355 West 39 th  Street, a block away from the Port Authority bus terminal. Cops said three men ran up to him and put the victim in a chokehold. While the man struggled, the other attackers repeatedly punched him.  Cops said the muggers forcibly removed the victim’s jacket, hat and sunglasses. They then ran off in an unknown direction.  EMS transported the victim to Lenox Healthplex Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Gruesome Discovery During Wellness Check Eerily Similar to Bronx Dismember Case A wellness check led cops to the body of a woman stuffed inside a duffel bag in her apartment, cops said. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 15, 2024 MANHATTAN - A wellness check on a Kips Bay woman led cops and family members to a gruesome discovery - her body stuffed inside a bag in the apartment, the NYPD said. The discovery is eerily reminiscent of last week’s Bronx dismemberment case.  At around 4:30 pm on March 14, cops from the 17th Precinct responding to a wellness check proceeded to Nadia Vital’s  apartment at 206 East 31st Street in Kips Bay. The family had called police when they had not heard from Nadia for several days.  Inside a closet in the apartment cops discovered a large bag. Peering inside the bag, cops found Vital’s body. It was not apparent what was the cause of the 52-year-old’s death. The Medical Examiner is investigating.  The discovery of Vital is eerily

Investigators believe the vicious beating and slashing was an unprovoked attack.  The NYPD just released new surveillance video of a man suspected of beating and slashing a man during a random attack.   At around 10:30 am on December 31, a 52-year-old man was standing in front of a Chinese Takeout restaurant at 2038 Amsterdam Avenue. Cops said a man dressed in black ran up to him and struck the victim in the back of the head with a bottle. Gunman Caught on Surveillance Video Robbing Smoke Shop The NYPD is searching for this man, seen holding a gun, who robbed an Upper Manhattan smokeshop. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 11, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a masked gunman who robbed an upper Manhattan smoke shop in broad daylight that was caught on camera.  At around 2:30 pm on February 29, a man wearing a black hoodie and a ski mask walked into a smoke shop at 3350 Broadway in West Harlem. Cops said the masked man walked up to the counter, pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the 37-year-old employee. He forced the worker to hand over $800 in cash, cops said.  The gunman than ran out of the store and was last seen fleeing eastbound on West 136th Street.    The NYPD released surveillance video of the robbery and the gunman.

Robbery Crew Made Off with Nearly $8K in Glasses The NYPD has arrested a teen in connection with a series of robberies of LensCrafters in NYC. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  March 8, 2024  MANHATTAN - Cops have arrested a teen in connection with a flash mob that has robbed a number of LensCrafters stores walking off with nearly $8,000 in eyeglasses.   The NYPD said a 15-year-old male was arrested and charged with grand larceny. Cops said the teen was arrested in regards to the first robbery of a LensCrafters in the Financial District.  The suspect’s name was not released given the fact that he is a minor. The NYPD had released photos of the suspected members of the robbery crew this week on social media. Tips led to the teen’s arrest.   Cops have now linked a third LensCrafters robbery with the same crew. Caught on Camera Trying to Set Israeli Flag on Fire, Tears it Down The NYPD released surveillance video of a man trying to burn an Israeli-American flag in front of a Kosher bagel shop. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice March 8, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a man who tried to to set an Israeli flag on fire in broad daylight outside a Manhattan bagel shop. When the flag wouldn’t catch fire the arsonist pulled it down. At around 3 pm on February 24, a man walked up to a kosher bagel shop at 2547 Amsterdam Avenue across the street from the Yeshiva University High School for Boys. Surveillance video captures the man hop on a table, and try to ignite an aerosol can to try to use it to burn the Israeli-American flag outside the bagel shop. When the can would not ignite like a blow torch, the firebug pulled the flag down to the floor and ran off. E-Bike Bandits - 4 Delivery Riders Robbed at Knifepoint in 1 Night (1 Stabbed)

Crew Robs Delivery Drivers of Their E-Bikes  The NYPD is searching for these men in connection with a robbery crew that stole the e-bikes of deliverymen at knife point. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  March 6, 2024  MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a robbery crew that has struck at least four times in one night, stealing delivery driver’s e-bikes at knife point. At least one deliveryman was stabbed, cops said.  The NYPD released surveillance video of some of the suspects dressed in black wanted for at least four robberies in Harlem on February 29.  The first robbery happened at around 7 pm at 212 West 124 Street. A 30-year-old driver on an e-bike was delivering food when he was approached by six men. Cops said one of the crew pulled out a knife while the others removed the victim’s e-bike, cellphone and food delivery bag.
