MANHATTAN - The NYPD arrested a Pennsylvania man in the pushing of an elderly man on to the subway tracks.

Police arrested 30-year-old Brittan Jones of York, Pennsylvania. He was charged with assault and reckless endangerment in the attack on an 85-year-old inside a West Side subway station.

At around 5:40 am on November 15, an 85-year-old man was standing on the B and D Train platform at West 47th Street and The Avenue of the Americas. Cops said the suspect began arguing with the elderly straphanger.

Suddenly the suspect shoved the 85-year-old off the subway platform and onto the tracks, cops said.

The suspect fled the station.
