MANHATTAN - Police are investigating why a 74-year-old man was stabbed to death inside a Sugar Hill building. One person was taken into custody, the NYPD said. 

At around 6 am today police respoding to a 911 call arrived at 560 West 151 Street in Sugar Hill. Cops found a 74-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a stab wound to the torso. 

Responding EMS pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

New Photos of Man Wanted for Slashing Teen in the Face 

BRONX - The NYPD released new photos of a suspect wanted for slashing a teen across the face during an unprovoked attack. The new photos clearly show the suspect’s face which was hidden during the attack, cops said.

Cops said a male “person of interest” was taken into custody at the scene. 

The victim’s name was not released pending family notification. Police are still investigating the man’s death in terms of motive and cause. No charges have been filed at this time as cops continue their investigation.
