MANHATTAN - An amateur photographer was beaten and hit with a homophobic slur for taking pictures inside a subway station, the NYPD said. The case is being investigated as a possible hate crime. 


At around 8:30 pm on December 29, a 25-year-old man was at the West 125th Street and Nicolas Avenue subway station. The man was taking photos inside the station when a man approached him. 


Cops said the man told him to “delete that f***ing photo of me, f****t!” He then punched the photographer repeatedly in the face before running off. 


Panhandler Stabs Man in Neck for Refusing to Hand Over Money

QUEENS - A panhandler stabbed a Queens man in the back of the neck when the victim refused to hand him over money, cops said. 


Cops released a photo of the suspect who is described as a male with a dark complexion. He is 5 foot 10 and 180 pounds and is believed to be around 25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black jacket.
