MANHATTAN - A pair of thieves made off with $80,000 in stolen jewelry in a taxi cab after robbing a Chinatown mall, cops said.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects who are seen skulking around the exterior of the 75 East Broadway Mall underneath the Manhattan Bridge last month.
Cops said these men broke into a jewelry store inside the mall and made off with $80,000 worth of jewelry at around 1 am on March 10. Once they were finished, cops said, the pair hailed a cab and fled.
The first suspect is described as a male with a slim build who is 5 foot 6. He was last seen wearing a fur winter hat and a grey vest.
The second suspect is described as a male who is 5 foot 8. He was last seen wearing a fur winter hat and a yellow protective jacket.
