NYC LOCAL NEWS - Cops are looking for a robbery crew that knocked a man to the ground and held another a knifepoint so they could rob them. The NYPD released photos of the three suspects wanted in the violent robberies.
The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying three people wanted in connection with two robberies that happened just days apart in East Harlem. Both incidents took place near 2120 Madison Avenue, within the 25th Precinct.
According to police, the first robbery happened around 5:05 p.m. on October 9, 2025. Investigators say a 67-year-old man was standing in front of the building when three individuals approached him. The group allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and stole about $900 from his pocket before running off in an unknown direction. Thankfully, the man was not injured.
Less than a week later, on October 15, at about 7:25 p.m., a second victim was targeted—this time inside the lobby of the same building. Police say a 31-year-old man was approached by three individuals matching the same description. One suspect pulled out a knife while the others went through the victim’s pockets, taking $500 in cash. The trio then fled on foot, again in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
The NYPD has released photos of the suspects captured during the second incident.
Investigators describe the first suspect as a man with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a man with a light complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers, and a blue medical facemask.
The third suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, light-colored pants, black sneakers, and also a blue medical facemask.
