Previously investigators had a dark, grainy video of the suspect taken of him walking at night down the street. The new video is taken from inside a brightly lit takeout joint. In the video the suspect is seen without a mask walking up to the counter showing a clear view of his face.  The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and medium build. Cops said a man in a winter coat followed her inside the building and asked for money.  The man then cornered the woman and forcibly removed her purse, cellphone and bank cards. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect seen sporting a long bushy beard, dreadlocks that hung over his shoulder and chest like a pony tail and baggy clothes. Cops said they are searching for the man who dressed like a Middle Eastern mystic in connection with a sexual assault.  During the early morning hours of October 27, cops said a 30-year-old woman met the suspect for the first time in a bar in Kips Bay. The suspects were caught on surveillance cameras jumping the turnstiles at one of the locations.   At around 5 am on October 10, a 60-year-old man was sitting on a bench at the southbound platform for the Number 6 train at the Bleecker Street station. Cops said two masked men walked up to the straphanger and punched him. When the victim fell to the floor, the attackers began kicking him in the head and face. Elderly Couple Seriously Injured During Mugging The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault and robbery of an elderly couple in Midtown. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 12, 2024 Follow @x MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a shirtless mugger who viciously beat an elderly couple on a brownstone lined street on the West Side.  At around 10:35 pm on November 9, a 75-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were walking on the sidewalk in front of 437 West 44th Street. Cops said a man ran up to the couple, grabbed the woman’s purse and tried to yank it off her arm. During the struggle the mugger threw the woman to the sidewalk.  The attacker then tried to forcibly remove the male’s wallet. When he was in front of 570 Park Avenue a young man ran up to him.  Cops said the young man, seen on surveillance video donning a back pack and carrying a shopping bag, ran up behind the senior. The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a mugging in Chinatown. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice November 6, 2024  Follow @x MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a pair of muggers who beat a retiree on the street during a robbery in Chinatown.  At around 3:35 am on September 1, a 63-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 120 East Broadway in Chinatown. Cops said two men ran up to him and pushed the victim to the ground.  As the man lay on the sidewalk, the attackers began repeatedly punching and kicking the victim. Then one of the attackers pulled out a knife and threatened the beaten victim who handed over his wallet.  The attackers then ran off in an unknown direction.  Cops said the muggers made off with $300 cash and credit cards.  The victim was treated for injuries to his head, face and arm.  The NYPD recently released surveillance video of one of the suspects.
