The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault on a straphanger in the Flatiron District. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 26, 2025 MANHATTAN - The NYPD is looking for a man dressed as if he was going to the office or an author reading instead of a violent assault that wounded a straphanger in the Flatiron District.  At around 11 pm on March 17, 55-year-old man was at the turnstiles inside the 23rd Street Station Subway when he was approached by a man in a pink shirt who asked the straphanger to swipe his MetroCard to allow him to enter the turnstile. NYPD Searching for 8 Men, 1 Woman in Subway Mugging The NYPD is searching for 9 members of a robbery crew who viciously beat and robbed a man on a Number 6 train near Canal Street. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 17, 2025 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a robbery crew of eight men men and a woman in connection with a prison-style beaten down during a robbery on a Number 6 train.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the nine suspects accused of mugging a straphanger during an early morning attack.  At around 4:30 am on March 12, a 28-year-old was riding a southbound Number 6 train near the Canal Street station. Bentley, Benz Drivers Targeted The NYPD is searching for this man and two others in connection with carjackings in Midtown. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  March 5, 2025  NEW YORK - Police have released new images of a pair of luxury car jackers who tried to boost a pair of high-end rides in Midtown last month.  The NYPD released new surveillance video of suspects wanted for two incidents 10 minutes apart from each other.  At around 11:20 pm on February 18, a 31-year-old driver was sitting inside his 2023 Bentley sedan parked in front of 37 West 28th Street. Police said three men walked up to the luxury car and pulled out handguns. They demanded the driver exit the car.  Cops said the driver shut the car off with a key fob causing the would-be thieves to flee in a white BMW. Reports claim the victim tried to help the alleged attacker after his OMNY card did not work.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect who was seen sporting large over the ear headphones atop his head.  At around 7 pm, at the mezzanine of the 34th Street - Herald Square subway station the suspect was captured on surveillance video. The video shows the man wearing a bright green hoodie fiddling with his OMNY card trying to get through the turnstile. As the train approached the 51st Street station a man approached him. Without saying a word, the man swung a piece of wood he had in his hand and struck the straphanger in the face. The blow broke one of the victim’s teeth.  At the station, the attacker fled the train and ran off in an unknown direction.  The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.  The NYPD released surveillance video from inside the subway car.  ...

Previously investigators had a dark, grainy video of the suspect taken of him walking at night down the street. The new video is taken from inside a brightly lit takeout joint. In the video the suspect is seen without a mask walking up to the counter showing a clear view of his face.  The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and medium build.
