According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 8:00 p.m. inside a CVS Pharmacy store located within the confines of the 10th Precinct.
Investigators say the two unidentified individuals entered the CVS and confronted a store employee during the evening hours. During the encounter, the suspects allegedly brandished knives and punched a 22-year-old female employee in the face.
Police say the assault happened quickly inside the store before the suspects fled the location.
Despite the violent nature of the encounter, authorities confirmed that no property was taken during the incident. The victim refused medical attention at the scene, according to police.
Following the attack, the two individuals fled the CVS on foot, heading to parts unknown.
Police released surveillance video of the robbery from inside the store.
Authorities are urging anyone who may recognize the individuals involved in the Chelsea CVS assault investigation to come forward.
