NEW YORK, NY — A man wearing a skull mask stabbed a 32-year-old man outside an East Village pizzeria in Manhattan and continued holding his drink after the attack, police said.

The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspect in the East Village stabbing, hoping the public can help identify the attacker. The suspect was wearing a gray vest with white fur on the collar and sides, along with a furry backpack and black boots. He had a skull mask on the side of his face, exposing his features to the surveillance camera, and was seen holding a plastic cup.

At approximately 2:45 a.m. on October 24, a 32-year-old man was standing outside a pizzeria at 32 St. Marks Place in the East Village when the suspect approached him, police said.

The two men began arguing, and the dispute quickly escalated. Police said the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen before fleeing the scene on foot.

EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
