Body Found at Greenwich Village Subway Station

MANHATTAN - Police are investigating a body found on a subway platform in Greenwich Village. Investigators said cuts were found on the victim’s torso.


At around midnight on December 8, cops responded to a 911 call to the subway station at West 4 Street and 6 Avenue. Officers were investigating a call of an unconscious male on the platform.



Cops found the unconscious male near the stairwell ramp area of the subway platform.


EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.




Investigators said lacerations were found on the victim’s torso.




The medical examiner’s office will determine a cause of death.
