Unprovoked Attack in Garment District - Suspect Caught on Camera The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault on a woman in the Grament District during an unprovoked attack. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 7, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for an apparently deranged man who threw a cup of hot water on a woman during an unprovoked attack in the Garment District.  At around 8:30 am, a 27-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of West 35 Street and 8th Avenue. Cops said an unknown man walked up to her and, without saying a word, threw a cup of hot water on her.  He then ran off in an unknown direction.  The victim was treated at a nearby medical facility. Body Found at Greenwich Village Subway Station

File Photo By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 8, 202 MANHATTAN - Police are investigating a body found on a subway platform in Greenwich Village. Investigators said cuts were found on the victim’s torso. At around midnight on December 8, cops responded to a 911 call to the subway station at West 4 Street and 6 Avenue. Officers were investigating a call of an unconscious male on the platform. Cops found the unconscious male near the stairwell ramp area of the subway platform. EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene. Investigators said lacerations were found on the victim’s torso. The medical examiner’s office will determine a cause of death. Grand Central Muggers Sought by Cops

Police are looking for five men in connection with two robberies outside Grand Central Terminal on separate occasions.  By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 22, 2022  MANHATTAN - A group of four or five men beat and robbed people outside Grand Central Terminal on at least two occasions, cops say.  The NYPD released photos from surveillance video taken from inside a subway station. The first batch shows the crew with face masks and their hoodies covering their faces. However, they were not so careful in the other photo which showed several members without the face masks clearly showing their faces.   The first attack happened at around 2 am on November 8. Cops say a 28-year-old was walking toward the Vanderbilt Avenue and East 42 Street entrance to Grand Central Terminal. A group of four men ran up behind him and attacked.  They repeatedly punched and kicked the victim as they tried to remove his backpack. They were not able to remove the backpack and fl

Perv Caught Playing with Himself on Subway

Police are searching for this man for allegedly exposing himself in front of riders. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 16, 2022   MANHATTAN - A female straphanger snapped a pic of a subway perv who was playing with himself on a train in Harlem.  At around 6 am on October 8, a 23-year-old woman was riding the southbound A train. As the train was pulling into the West 125 Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue station she looked up to see the man sitting across from her had exposed himself. The man proceeded to masturbate in full view of the other riders.  The woman took a photo of the suspected perv and gave it to police.
