Slashed on the 6 Train in Unprovoked Attack

MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a man who slashed a retiree on the Number 6 train in another unprovoked subway attack.
At around 3 am on December 8, a 66-year-old man was onboard a southbound Number 6 train. As the train approached the 33rd Street and Park Avenue Station, a man in a brown coat with fur hood and wearing a black mask approached him. Without a word or warning he pulled out a sharp object and slashed the straphanger in the head and ear.
When the train stopped at the station the attacker jumped off and fled to the street above.
The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
