NYPD Searching for 8 Men, 1 Woman in Subway Mugging The NYPD is searching for 9 members of a robbery crew who viciously beat and robbed a man on a Number 6 train near Canal Street. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice March 17, 2025 MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a robbery crew of eight men men and a woman in connection with a prison-style beaten down during a robbery on a Number 6 train.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the nine suspects accused of mugging a straphanger during an early morning attack.  At around 4:30 am on March 12, a 28-year-old was riding a southbound Number 6 train near the Canal Street station. New Photos of Subway Slasher Suspect

Police are searching for this man in connection with a slashing on the Number 6 train. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 12, 2022  MANHATTAN - Police released new images of a man wanted in connection with the senseless subway slashing of an elderly man on the Number 6 train.  Police initially released a photo which showed that the suspect wore a long dark coat with a brown fur hood. The new photo shows the suspect had underneath the coat a thin multi-colored hoodie jacket.  In addition the new photo shows the suspect to have a thin build with more of his face exposed peaking out from beneath the hood and face mask. The older photo showed the man zipped up with the layers of jackets which made the suspect to appear to have a larger frame. Slashed on the 6 Train in Unprovoked Attack

Police are searching for this man in connection with an unprovoked slashing on the Number 6 train.  By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  December 9, 2022  MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for a man who slashed a retiree on the Number 6 train in another unprovoked subway attack.  At around 3 am on December 8, a 66-year-old man was onboard a southbound Number 6 train. As the train approached the 33rd Street and Park Avenue Station, a man in a brown coat with fur hood and wearing a black mask approached him. Without a word or warning he pulled out a sharp object and slashed the straphanger in the head and ear.  When the train stopped at the station the attacker jumped off and fled to the street above.  The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
