Thanksgiving Double Stabbing -1 Dead, 1 Wounded

MANHATTAN - An early morning Thanksgiving Day double stabbing left one man dead and another wounded, the NYPD said. Police announced an arrest in the attack.


The NYPD arrested Gianluca Bordone, 19, and charged him with manslaughter and assault.


At around 2 am on November 23, NYPD officers responded to reports of a stabbing in front of 96 Lafayette Street. Instead of only one victim, the officers found two young men stabbed lying on the street.


A 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male both suffered stab wounds to the torsos.

Surveillance Video Shows Couple Wanted for Subway Slashing


MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a couple wanted in the slashing of a female subway rider at the 42nd Street station.

Both victims were rushed to Bellevue Hospital. The 17-year-old was pronounced dead. The 19-year-old was listed in stable condition.
