Surveillance Video Shows Crew Using Stolen Credit Card in Brooklyn

MANHATTAN - A trio of crooks, 2 men and a woman, attacked and robbed a man in Midtown, the NYPD said.


Surveillance video from inside a Brooklyn store captured the suspects using the stolen credit card, the NYPD said.


At around 8:30 pm on December 2, a 28-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of Broadway and West 39 Street. Cops said two men and a woman ran up to him and punched him in the face and about the body.


During the beating, the attackers ripped the necklace off the victim’s neck and forcibly removed his cellphone and wallet.


The attackers then ran off.


The victim was taken by EMS to Bellevue Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.


Cops traced unauthorized charges from the victim’s credit cards to two locations in Brooklyn.


The first suspect is described as a male around 18 years of age, who is 5 foot 7, with a slim build and long hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue coat, dark pants and dark sneakers.


The second suspect is a male with a medium complexion, who is 18, 5 foot 6, with a slim build and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a blue coat, gray pants, and gray sneakers.


The last suspect is a female with a medium complexion and heavy build. She is described as 18 years old and is 5 foot 6. She was last seen wearing a white sweater, blue ripped jeans, tan boots, and a backpack.
