MANHATTAN - A woman was slashed across the stomach by a man as she waited on a subway platform in Hell’s Kitchen, cops said. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect in the alleged random attack.

At around 3 am on October 1, a 28-year-old woman was standing on the northbound platform of the C Train at the 50th Street Station. Cops said a man walked up to her and, without saying a word, slashed her across the torso with an “unknown cutting instrument.”

The suspect then ran out of the station.

EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated and listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, medium build and a beard. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and tan pants. He wore black hoodie and held a black duffel bag.
