The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect in the alleged random attack. At around 3 am on October 1, a 28-year-old woman was standing on the northbound platform of the C Train at the 50th Street Station. Cops said a man walked up to her and, without saying a word, slashed her across the torso with an “unknown cutting instrument.” The suspect then ran out of the station. EMS rushed the victim to Bellevue Hospital where she was treated and listed in stable condition. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, medium build and a beard.
