MANHATTAN - An arguement between a 50-year-old man and a couple dressed as if they were going for a run ended in violence when they beat and pistol whipped the victim, the NYPD said.
At around 4:20 pm on September 3, a 50-year-old man was in front of 220 Amsterdam Avenue when he got into an argument with a man and woman who were dressed in work out gear. As the dispute got heated, the male pulled out a handgun and smashed him in the face with the butt of the weapon.
The pair then hopped into a black Nissan Murano and drove off.
EMS treated the victim at the scene.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the two suspects. The female suspect is described as having a medium complexion and is 5 foot 6. She has a tattoo on her right arm. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts and black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and a goatee. He is 5 foot 6. He was last seen wearing gray shorts, white and black sneakers, and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
