MANHATTAN - A 61-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint by a pair of robbers in the Flatiron District. Cops said the violent robbery was for $60.
The NYPD released new surveillance video of the suspects taken from inside a subway station near Union Square. The suspects are both males with light complexions wearing dark hoodies. One of the men wore a blue face mask.
At around 4:30 am on January 26, a 61-year-old man was walking in front of 5 East 19th Street in the Flatiron District. Cops said two men in hoodies ran up to him and displayed a knife. They took $60 cash from the victim and fled towards a subway station entrance.
The pair was later captured on security cameras at the Union Square station.
