MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for the suspect who bashed a man in the head with a metal pipe during a beatdown in Chinatown, the NYPD said.

At around 3:40 am on January 30, two men were arguing in front of 83 Baxter Street in Chinatown. Investigators did not comment on whether the two men knew each other or what they were arguing about.

As the argument got heated, one of the men picked up a metal pipe and began bashing the other in the head, cops said. The attacker struck the man multiple times in the head with the pipe and then ran off.

The victim was rushed the Bellevue Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The NYPD released new surveillance video of the suspect. He is described as a male who is 5 foot 5 with a medium complexion and a small build. He was last seen wearing a blue hat, black jacket with a yellow dragon along the arm, multicolored pants and black sneakers.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
