MANHATTAN - The NYPD is investigating whether a group of migrants busted in Phoenix are the same ones who took a “rat line” out of New York after being released in the attack on police officers in Times Square, the NY Post is reporting.

According to the report, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a group of migrants at a Phoenix Greyhound bus station. The Post is reporting that ICE and other officials are investigating if these are the same men who were arrested for attacking two NYPD officers during a migrant melee in Times Square.

These suspects were arrested on immigration warrants, the Post reports.

After being freed without bail, four of the defendants allegedly hopped on a bus for California.

The report states that the four men busted in Phoenix could be the same ones who gave phony names to a church-affiliated nonprofit that helps migrants gain transportation out of NYC.

The four men that allegedly skipped out of NYC after being released are: Darwin Andres Gomez, 19, Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19, Wilson Juarez, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.

The four migrants were allegedly part of a large group who attacked two NYPD officers on January 27. The officers were investigating a rowdy group outside a migrant shelter in the middle of the Theatre District. As the officers tried to detain one of the men, members of the group began punching and kicking the officers. The entire attack was captured on street surveillance cameras.

The attack drew national outrage and highlighted the migrant crisis.
