Pickpocket Throws Man Down Stairs at Times Square Station

Cartier Thief Makes Off with $6K Watch The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault and robbery of a straphanger at the Times Square subway station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 25, 2024 MANHATTAN - A Times Square pickpocket threw a straphanger down a flight of stairs at the subway station and then stole the victim’s $6,000 watch, cops said. At around 4:30 pm on February 20, a 59-year-old man exited a train and was climbing the stairs at the Times Square Station. Cops said a man approached the straphanger from behind and reached into his pocket. The victim turned around and confronted the pickpocket and a struggle ensured. Cops said the pickpocket then pushed the man down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, the attacker removed $1,000 cash off the victim and then pulled a Cartier watch off the victim’s wrist, cops said. The watch is valued at $6,000, the NYPD said. The victim took himself to a doctor by private means.

McD’s Craving Crooks Used Stolen Debit Card to   Pay for Big Mac The NYPD is searching for this woman in connection with the unauthorized use of a stolen debit card. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 24, 2024 MANHATTAN - A pair of crooks who stole a handbag used the owner’s debit card at a Union Square McDonalds, cops said. At around 2:20 am on February 17, cops said a handbag left unattended in Times Square was found by two suspects. The suspects took the handbag and went to a McDonald’s on East 14th Street. Cops said the suspects pulled a debit card out of the stolen handbag and used it to purchase a meal off the McD’s illuminated menu board .  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken at the 1st Avenue and East 20th Street subway station at 3 am.  The suspect captured on surveillance video is described as a female with a light complexion and long blonde hair. Another Suspect Arrested in Attack on Cops The NYPD has nade yet another arrest for the Jan 27th asault on officers by migrants. -Photo by NYPD Released Attack Suspect Arrested for Shoplifting  By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 14, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops arrested another suspect in the attack on two police officers outside a Times Square migrant shelter.  The NYPD arrested a 17-year-old and charged him with assault in connection with the attack on police officers. Cops did not release the suspect’s name because he is a minor. The teen becomes the seventh suspect arrested for the January 27th attack on cops. The news comes at the same time another melee suspect was arrested again.  Cops arrested 19-year-old Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel for shoplifting at a Macy’s in the Queens Center Mall.  Cops said Gomez-Izquiel was part of shoplifting crew that assaulted a security guard who tried to stop them.

NYPD Releases New Photos of Suspects Still at Large  The NYPD released photos of two suspects wanted in the migrant attack on cops in Times Square. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  February 7, 2024  MANHATTAN - The NYPD released new photos of two more suspects wanted in the attack on cops outside a migrant shelter in Times Square. Both suspects appear to match the suspects caught on camera kicking the officers.  One of the suspects is a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap and a red hoodie with a white Adidas logo on the left corner. In the infamous video of the attack, a man in a hoodie is seen kicking the officers who were struggling on the ground trying to restrain a suspect.  The second suspect appears to match the man who is seen on video falling to the ground after kicking one of the officers. Migrants Arrested in Phoenix, Could Be Connected to Times Square Beatdown - Report  Migrants attacking NYPD officers in Times Square has drawn national outrage. The NY Post is reporting four of the released attackers could have been arrested in Phoenix by immigration officials. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  February 6, 2024  MANHATTAN - The NYPD is investigating whether a group of migrants busted in Phoenix are the same ones who took a “rat line” out of New York after being released in the attack on police officers in Times Square, the NY Post is reporting.  According to the report, agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a group of migrants at a Phoenix Greyhound bus station. Times Square Stabbing at Restroom The NYPD is searching for two men in connection with the pepper spraying and stabbing of a man coming out of restaurant's restroom. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice January 30, 2024 MANHATTAN - A man coming out of the restroom of a restaurant in Times Square was pepper sprayed and stabbed by a pair of attackers, the NYPD said.  At around 9 pm on December 23rd, a 28-year-old man got into an argument inside a restaurant at 1501 Broadway. The dispute appeared to end and the man went to the restroom. When he came out the pair was waiting for him.  Cops said one of the attackers pepper sprayed him in the face. The same suspect then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen.  The attackers ran out the establishment and fled on foot northbound on Broadway. 

Thief Rips Headphones Off Residents’ Heads in Times Square

Headphone Thief Targets Times Square, Caught Red Handed The NYPD is searching for this man for a string of headphone robberies in Times Square. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice January 29, 2024 MANHATTAN - A headphone thief targeting Times Square was caught red handed with an alleged pair of stolen headphones on surveillance video released by the NYPD. Cops believe the same man struck at least twice around Times Square.  The first case happened at around 8 pm on December 22. A 26-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of 1514 Broadway when a man in a hoodie came up from behind. The thief ripped the headphones off the man’s head and ran off on West 44th Street.  The next robbery took place exactly one month later. At around 8:30 pm on January 22, a 43-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 3 Times Square when a man walked up behind her. He ripped the headphones off her ears and ran off southbound on 8th Avenue.   No injuries were reported in either ca
