NYC LOCAL NEWS - A late-night argument on the Lower East Side turned violent early Friday when a woman was stabbed multiple times, according to police.

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. at Pitt Street and East Houston Street. Police say the 36-year-old woman got into some kind of dispute with a man, and things escalated quickly. During the confrontation, the man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her several times in the right leg.
