MANHATTAN - Cops have arrested a Brooklyn woman in the subway bashing of a musician. The performer was bashed in the head with a bottle and the attack was caught on video.


The NYPD announced the arrest of 23-year-old Amira Hunter. The Brooklyn resident was charged with assault.


At around 5:45 pm on February 13, a 29-year-old musician was playing at the mezzanine of the 34th Street/ Herald Square Station. Cops said a woman walked up to the male playing music and struck him in the head with a metal bottle causing a deep cut. 


The attacker fled the station. Cops not only had surveillance video of the suspect but straphangers recorded the attack on cell phone video.
