MANHATTAN - A pair of crooks who stole a handbag used the owner’s debit card at a Union Square McDonalds, cops said.


At around 2:20 am on February 17, cops said a handbag left unattended in Times Square was found by two suspects.


The suspects took the handbag and went to a McDonald’s on East 14th Street. Cops said the suspects pulled a debit card out of the stolen handbag and used it to purchase a meal off the McD’s illuminated menu board. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken at the 1st Avenue and East 20th Street subway station at 3 am. 


The suspect captured on surveillance video is described as a female with a light complexion and long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black skirt and black boots.

Female Shoplifters Beat Worker on Lower East Side

Police released surveillance video of the suspects being sought. The footage was taken from inside an elevator inside the LaGuardia NYCHA Development after the assault. At around 9:20 am on June 13, two woman walked into a variety store on the corner of Clinton Avenue on the Lower East Side. Cops said the women took merchandise and then tried to leave the store without paying. That is when a 32-year-old female worker tried to stop one of the shoplifters from leaving.
