MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a man wanted in a slashing outside a Chipotle restaurant in Chelsea.
During the early morning hours of February 17, a group of four men got into an argument in front of 680 6th Avenue. The dispute died down until around 3:30 am when the groups started arguing with each other while waiting for a cab. The argument turned physical as both groups began throwing punches.
Cops said one of the group walked up to a 26-year-old man, pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face, causing a massive laceration.
The slasher then fled on foot. Cops said the suspect was last seen entering Bounce Nightclub located at 55 West 21st Street.
EMS rushed the victim to Lenox Hill HealthPlex - Greenwich Village where he was treated for his injuries. The victim is listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and medium build. He is said to be about 30 years of age.
