Cops Release Video of Slashing Suspect The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with slashing outside a Chelsea Chipotle. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 20, 2024 MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a man wanted in a slashing outside a Chipotle restaurant in Chelsea.  During the early morning hours of February 17, a group of four men got into an argument in front of 680 6th Avenue. The dispute died down until around 3:30 am when the groups started arguing with each other while waiting for a cab. The argument turned physical as both groups began throwing punches. Cops said one of the group walked up to a 26-year-old man, pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face, causing a massive laceration.  The slasher then fled on foot. Chelsea Assault Arrest, NYPD Searching for Another Suspect The NYPD made one arrest and are searching for a second suspect in the assault and robbery of a man in Chelsea on Christmas Eve. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 8, 2024 MANHATTAN - For the NYPD it’s one down and one to go in the vicious Chelsea Christmas Eve assault and robbery.  The NYPD announced the arrest of Yanoadiael Acosta of Washington Heights in the December 24th Chelsea mugging. Acosta was charged with robbery and misapplication of property. Another suspect is still being sought by cops.  At around 4 am on December 24, a 23-year-old male got into an argument with a group of individuals in the vicinity of 22nd Street and 7th Avenue in Chelsea. Cops said the dispute turned violent as the fight became physical leading two members of the group to chase after the man.  The victim was chased across the street but was caught by the attackers. Police are looking for this turnstile jumper in connection with the robbery of a Chelsea smoke shop. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 19, 2022 MANHATTAN - Police are searching for a pair of robbers who ripped off thousands of dollars worth weed-related products from a Chelsea smoke shop.  At around 7 pm on December 1, two men walked into a smoke shop at 304 8th Avenue in Chelsea. One of the hoodie wearing men pulled out a gun and demanded items.  Cops say they stole $3,500 worth of products from the store.  Police released surveillance video of the suspects. One of the suspects is seen wearing a black bubble jacket with a black hoodie underneath. He wore a black mask and sunglasses which hid his face. However, his partner was not so careful about hiding his identity.  In the video inside and outside the store, the accomplice had his face covered by a dark mask. Police are searching for a pair of robbers who were seen holding pet carriers. By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  December 3, 2022  MANHATTAN - Police are searching for a pair of muggers who were carrying boxes of live animals when they robbed a man in Chelsea.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the two suspects who were going through a subway turnstile following the robbery. Both suspects each held a cardboard PetSmart animal carrier.  At around 1 am on November 8, a 19-year-old man was walking in front of 275 7th Avenue in Chelsea when two men ran up to him and simulated having guns. They pushed the victim up against the wall while they rifled through his pockets.  The muggers removed the victim’s Apple iPhone 11, Apple Air Pods, and a wallet containing credit cards. Cops all the items taken are valued at approximately $1,050.  The muggers ran east on West 26th Street.  Cops say both muggers have a medium complexion and are between the ages of 18 an
