Cops Look for Female Thieves Who Robbed Yoga Store, Attacked Workers

MANHATTAN - A pair of female shoplifters helped themselves to merchandise inside a high-end yoga store in the Flatiron District, the NYPD said. 



At around 6:15 pm on February 6, two females walked into the Alo Yoga Store in the Flatiron District. Cops said the suspects started removing merchandise from the shelves and stuffing them in large black bags. When two female workers tried to stop them, the shoplifters pounced. 


Cops said the robbers scratched the faces of the female employees ages 24 and 21. 


The crooks then ran out of the store and fled southbound on 5th Avenue. 



EMS treated the store employees at the scene. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects from inside the store at the time. The first suspect is described as a female in her early 20s. She has a medium complexion and medium build. She was last seen wearing a blue jacket with a star, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, and a black canvas bag. 


The second suspect is described as a female with a medium complexion and medium build. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, tan sweatpants, glasses, a brown baseball cap, and a black sweater.
