MANHATTAN - The NYPD has announced the arrest of a teen suspect in the robbery of a Greenwich Village smoke shop last month.

Police arrested a 17-year-old male in connection with the January 19th robbery. The suspect, whose name is withheld because he is a minor, was charged with robbery and burglary. No word on the whereabouts of the other two suspects.

At around 11:50 am on January 19, three men dressed in dark colors and masks walked into the smoke shop at 333 Avenue of the Americas. Cops said the crew took items off the shelves and then threatened the store’s 21-year-old worker. No injuries were reported.

The crooks fled on foot in an unknown direction.
