Cops Arrest 1 Man, Seek 1 more in NYC Hate Crime Attack, Robbery Police arrested one man and are seeking another in connection with a hate crime attack. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  July 25, 2023  MANHATTAN - An New York man was hit with hate crime charges in connection with the robbery of a man who was beaten and pelted with anti-gay remarks, cops said. A second suspect is still at large.  Yesterday police arrested 27-year-old Terrell Porch. He was charged with hate crime/robbery, robbery, hate crime/assault, criminal possession of stolen property, aggravated assault and assault.   Police are still searching for another suspect in the attack. At around 3 am on July 16, a 49-year-old man was walking in front of a brownstone on West 154th Street in Hamilton Heights when he was approached by two men. Cops Make Arrest in Stuy Town Subway Station Shooting

Police have made one arrest in the shooting inside a subway station near Stuy Town. The woman and another man are still at large, cops said. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice July 24, 2023 MANHATTAN - Cops just arrested the suspected gunman accused of shooting up a Stuy Town subway station after getting in to dispute with another man. It is unclear if the gunman, his intended target and another woman were all together before the dispute turned violent.  Police today announced the arrest of Aaron Vasquez, 21, of Brooklyn. Cops said he is the suspected gunman who opened fire inside the 1st Avenue subway station on July 10. Vasquez was charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment. According to police, the incident began as a dispute at around 2 am on July 10 on the platform for the L Train at the 1st Avenue station at Stuyvesant Town. Cops said the two men started arguing and then began physically fighting on the platform.

Grubhub and JOCO, a start-up e-bike rental company for delivery workers, debuted the 259 Bowery location last month as part of their efforts to provide “continuous safe e-bike storage, battery exchange, and delivery rider gear,” Grubhub said at the time.
