Man Stabbed on Lexington Avenue

By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 7, 2022 MANHATTAN - Police released a photo of a suspect wanted for stabbing a man on Lexington Avenue last month. A dispute turned deadly on Lexington Avenue when a man who picked a fight with a stranger stabbed him in the chest, cops say. At around 5 pm on November 5, a 28-year-old man was on the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 51st Street when an unknown man started an argument with him.  Suddenly the stranger pulled out a sharp unknown object and stabbed him once in the chest. He then fled south on Lexington.  The victim was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell where he was listed in stable condition. The attacker is described as a male in his 20s with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white tan top shirt, blue ripped jeans, red sneakers, white Du-rag on his head, long gold chain around his neck and carrying a black book bag. ‘Batman’ Who Beat Homeless Man Charged - Cops Say Police have made an arrest in the vicious baseball bat attack in NYC. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 7, 2022  MANHATTAN - Police have made an arrest in the NYC bat attack in which the attacker snuck up behind his target and struck him upside the back of the head with a baseball bat he had hidden in his pants.  Police arrested 26-year-old Karim Azizi of West 149th Street. He was charged with assault, attempted assault and criminal posession of a weapon in the vicious attack which took place in front of a slew of police cameras.  At around 8 am on November 29, a 47-year-old homeless man was walking down Amsterdam Avenue when a man dressed in black walked up behind him, pulled a baseball bat out of his pants, and whacked him in the back of the head.   The victim fell to the ground grabbing his head and rolling onto his back. Attacked Beneath NYPD Cameras Police are searching for the man who whacked a homeless man upside the back of the head with a baseball bat. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 5, 2022 MANHATTAN - A brazen, bat wielding brute bashed a homeless man’s head in with a baseball bat in full view of NYPD cameras.  Police released the dramatic video of the attack. At around 8 am on November 29, a 47-year-old homeless man was walking down Amsterdam Avenue when a man dressed in black walked up behind him, pulled a baseball bat out of his pants, and whacked him in the back of the head.   The victim fell to the ground grabbing his head and rolling onto his back. The attacker is then seen hovering over him as he lay sprawled across the sidewalk. Stabbed at Herald Square

A straphanger (Left) struggled with a man who stole his backpack. The robber stabbed his victim repeatedly. By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice November 28, 2022 MANHATTAN - A straphanger was repeatedly stabbed at the Herald Square subway station during a robbery. Police released the dramatic video which captured the attack.  At around 10 pm on November 22, a 34-year-old man was riding the southbound F train approaching the Herald Square station at 34th Street. An unknown man approached him and asked for a cigarette. As the straphanger handed over a cigarette, the other man tried to remove cash from him.   The two men struggled within the subway car at which point the cigarette grubber pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the man in the torso.  When the train stopped at Herald Square and the doors opened, the fight continued onto the subway platform.
