Man Stabbed on Lexington Avenue
By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice December 7, 2022 MANHATTAN - Police released a photo of a suspect wanted for stabbing a man on Lexington Avenue last month. A dispute turned deadly on Lexington Avenue when a man who picked a fight with a stranger stabbed him in the chest, cops say. At around 5 pm on November 5, a 28-year-old man was on the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 51st Street when an unknown man started an argument with him. Suddenly the stranger pulled out a sharp unknown object and stabbed him once in the chest. He then fled south on Lexington. The victim was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell where he was listed in stable condition. The attacker is described as a male in his 20s with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a white tan top shirt, blue ripped jeans, red sneakers, white Du-rag on his head, long gold chain around his neck and carrying a black book bag.
