MANHATTAN - A 79-year-old man was punched in the face, by a young attacker, inside the lobby of his Gramercy Park building, cops said.

Video taken from the lobby of a building in the vicinity of East 23rd Street and Third Avenue, shows the suspect arguing with a man off camera before the physical confrontation. The suspect is seen holding a package and a cell phone near the Amazon Hub in the lobby.

The suspect in his late teens of 20s, was in the building at around 6 pm on April 27. The 79-year-old tenant was also in the lobby and, cops said, the suspect approached the elderly man and started a verbal dispute.

According to the NYPD, the argument soon turned physical with the two men struggling. Cops said the younger man punched the senior in the face and then walked out of the building.

EMS rushed the victim to NYU Langone Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a fur hooded jacket, blue sweatpants and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
