Homeless Man Gropes 74-Year-Old Woman in Her Home

The NYPD have identified 64-year-old Aldred Eaddy as the suspect and are asking for the public’s help in catching him. Cops released Eaddy’s previous mugshot and said he is homeless.  At around 8 pm on January 31, the 74-year-old woman was returning to her apartment in the vicinity of Broadway and West 142 Street in Hamilton Heights. Cops said the suspect followed the victim into her building and to her apartment door. He then pushed his way into the victim’s apartment and groped the elderly woman, cops said. The suspect was last seen fleeing the building on foot.  Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime

Woman Nabbed for Hitting Subway Performer in Head with Bottle The NYPD has announced an arrest in the assault on a subway performer at the Herald Square Station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 29, 2024 MANHATTAN - Cops have arrested a Brooklyn woman in the subway bashing of a musician. The performer was bashed in the head with a bottle and the attack was caught on video. The NYPD announced the arrest of 23-year-old Amira Hunter. The Brooklyn resident was charged with assault. At around 5:45 pm on February 13, a 29-year-old musician was playing at the mezzanine of the 34th Street/ Herald Square Station. Cops said a woman walked up to the male playing music and struck him in the head with a metal bottle causing a deep cut.  The attacker fled the station. Cops not only had surveillance video of the suspect but straphangers recorded the attack on cell phone video.

Crook was ‘Caught’ Red Handed on Camera The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault and robbery of a backpack on a subway train at Rockefeller Center. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  February 28, 2024  MANHATTAN - A teenage straphanger was mugged inside a subway car at the Rockefeller Center Subway Station and cops said cameras caught him carrying the stolen item off the train.  At around 5:30 am on February 27, a 17-year-old male was sitting on a southbound F Train. As the train approached the Rockefeller Center Station, a man approached him. Cops said without warning the man punched the teen in the stomach and ripped the backpack out of the victim’s hands.  The attacker then fled the subway car and ran out of the station.  The NYPD released the surveillance video which shows the suspect running out of the subway car holding a backpack.  The suspect is described as a male with short hair who is six feet tall and 30 years of age. Best Dressed Shoplifting Gang Struck Same North Face Store Twice The NYPD is searching for a number of suspects who robbed a Soho North Face store two days in a row. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 28, 2024 MANHATTAN - A flash mob struck a Soho North Face store twice and cops believe the crooks wore the evidence in the getaway.  The NYPD released subway surveillance video which showed a group of at least six individuals, both male and female, walking through the turnstiles with the brand new North Face jackets. Cops said these are the same people who struck the same Soho store two days in a row last month.  The first robbery took place at around 3 pm on January 8 at the North Face store at 584 Broadway. Cops said a group walked into the store, took coats off the racks and fled with the handsfull of merchandise. ‘Clownish’ Dressed Crook Robs Bank of $5K The NYPD is searching for a man who robbed a bank on the Lower East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Manhattan Voice February 27, 2024  MANHATTAN - Low-profile was not this bank robber’s MO. Cops are looking for a suspect who wore an oversized track suit and a large yellow knit cap to rob a Lower East Side bank and then ditched the disguised in the getaway. At around 3:30 pm on January 30, the suspect walked into the Wells Fargo Bank on Clinton Street. Cops said the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding cash.  The bank employee handed the masked man $5,000 in cash and he fled the bank.  Cops released before and after surveillance videos. Random Attacker Bashes Victim in Head The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a random attack in Chelsea in which a woman was bashed in the back of the head with a baseball bat. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 26, 2024 MANHATTAN - A woman was bashed in the head with a baseball bat during a random attack in Chelsea, cops said. At around 10 pm on February 8, a 25-year-old woman was walking in front of a Fed Ex store at 229 7th Avenue. Cops said an unknown man ran up behind her and hit her in the back of the head with a baseball bat. The victim fell to the ground and the attacker ran away. EMS rushed the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital where she was listed in stable condition.

Cartier Thief Makes Off with $6K Watch The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with an assault and robbery of a straphanger at the Times Square subway station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 25, 2024 MANHATTAN - A Times Square pickpocket threw a straphanger down a flight of stairs at the subway station and then stole the victim’s $6,000 watch, cops said. At around 4:30 pm on February 20, a 59-year-old man exited a train and was climbing the stairs at the Times Square Station. Cops said a man approached the straphanger from behind and reached into his pocket. The victim turned around and confronted the pickpocket and a struggle ensured. Cops said the pickpocket then pushed the man down the stairs. At the bottom of the stairs, the attacker removed $1,000 cash off the victim and then pulled a Cartier watch off the victim’s wrist, cops said. The watch is valued at $6,000, the NYPD said. The victim took himself to a doctor by private means.

McD’s Craving Crooks Used Stolen Debit Card to   Pay for Big Mac The NYPD is searching for this woman in connection with the unauthorized use of a stolen debit card. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 24, 2024 MANHATTAN - A pair of crooks who stole a handbag used the owner’s debit card at a Union Square McDonalds, cops said. At around 2:20 am on February 17, cops said a handbag left unattended in Times Square was found by two suspects. The suspects took the handbag and went to a McDonald’s on East 14th Street. Cops said the suspects pulled a debit card out of the stolen handbag and used it to purchase a meal off the McD’s illuminated menu board .  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects taken at the 1st Avenue and East 20th Street subway station at 3 am.  The suspect captured on surveillance video is described as a female with a light complexion and long blonde hair.
