Female Robbery Crew Beats, Robs Girls The NYPD is searching for four females in connection with an assault and robbery of teenage girls on the Lower East Side. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice February 1, 2024 MANHATTAN - A pair of teenage girls were beaten and robbed by a group of females on the Lower East Side, the NYPD said. At around 9 pm on January 18, a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were walking in front of 70 Pitt Street on the Lower East Side. Cops said a group of four females ran up to the girls and began wailing on the teens.  The attackers punched the girls in the face and about the head. During the assault, the 15 year old dropped her cellphone. One of the attackers picked up the phone and the group took off. Pet Carrying Muggers Rob Man in Chelsea

Police are searching for a pair of robbers who were seen holding pet carriers. By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  December 3, 2022  MANHATTAN - Police are searching for a pair of muggers who were carrying boxes of live animals when they robbed a man in Chelsea.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the two suspects who were going through a subway turnstile following the robbery. Both suspects each held a cardboard PetSmart animal carrier.  At around 1 am on November 8, a 19-year-old man was walking in front of 275 7th Avenue in Chelsea when two men ran up to him and simulated having guns. They pushed the victim up against the wall while they rifled through his pockets.  The muggers removed the victim’s Apple iPhone 11, Apple Air Pods, and a wallet containing credit cards. Mugged by CD Sellers Near Bryant Park

Police are looking for three men in connection with a mugging near Bryant Park in broad daylight. By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 22, 2022  MANHATTAN - A trio of CD sellers drive a hard bargain. According to police when a man wanted to buy a CD for $10, they forced to pay up $220.   The NYPD released surveillance photos of the three suspects. One photo is of the three men on the street. Another was taken inside a local grocery store.  At around noon on November 17, a 22-year-old was walking near Bryant Park when he was approached by three men selling CDs. He agreed to buy one of the CDs for $10.  Police are looking for a man wearing a hoodie with a drawing of a cat on one side and a bird on the other. Apparently the sellers were insulted by the offer. Instead they strong armed the man and walked him over to a nearby ATM. Cops say they forced the victim to remove $220 in cash from the machine.  The robbers...

Grand Central Muggers Sought by Cops

Police are looking for five men in connection with two robberies outside Grand Central Terminal on separate occasions.  By Dan Gesslein  Manhattan Voice  November 22, 2022  MANHATTAN - A group of four or five men beat and robbed people outside Grand Central Terminal on at least two occasions, cops say.  The NYPD released photos from surveillance video taken from inside a subway station. The first batch shows the crew with face masks and their hoodies covering their faces. However, they were not so careful in the other photo which showed several members without the face masks clearly showing their faces.   The first attack happened at around 2 am on November 8. Cops say a 28-year-old was walking toward the Vanderbilt Avenue and East 42 Street entrance to Grand Central Terminal.
